Hive is an award winning board game with a difference. There is no board. The
pieces are added to the playing area thus creating the board. As more
and more pieces are added the game becomes a fight to see who can be the
first to capture the opposing Queen Bee.
The soldier ants battle to keep
control of the outside of the hive, whilst the Beetles climb up to
dominate the top. Spiders moving into holding positions as the Grass
Hoppers jump in for the kill. Keeping one eye on the hive and the other
on your opponents reserves, the tension builds as one wrong move will
see your Queen Bee quickly engulfed; .... game over! Each player has one Queen Bee piece.
Surround your opponents Queen Bee with either yours or your opponents
colored pieces. The first person to surround your opponents Queen Bee
wins. It's as simple as that, .... but is it?
Takes a few minutes to learn and a lifetime to master, just like chess.Ages: 9+ | Players: 2 | Playtime: 20 minutes
The Ladybug expansion set comes in a pretty self contained package that can be added to your Hive base game. The interesting way in which it moves will add that extra strategy to your game play which will make your game both fun and challenging at the same time. The Hive Ladybug Expansion piece is used as an add-on for the Standard Hive game. It adds an additional twist to the game play and it makes it a little more interesting.

The Mosquito is a very tricky Hive
insect. It has no movement ability of its own, but takes its movement
ability from any other bug, of either colour, that it is touching at the
start of its move. This means that it is constantly changing its
movement and can quite easily catch your opponent unawares. The Hive Mosquito Expansion piece is used as an add-on for the Standard Hive game. It adds an additional twist to the game play and it makes it a little more interesting.

The Pillbug moves one space at a time,
but also has a special ability it may use instead of moving that allows
it to move an adjacent piece (friendly or enemy) to another empty space
adjacent to itself. This special ability makes the Pillbug a formidable
defensive and offensive bug.The Hive Pillbug Expansion piece is used as an add-on for the Standard Hive game. It adds an additional twist to the game play and it makes it a little more interesting.

Hive Pocket, our most anticipated version of our award winning flagship game is now officially available.
This wonderful travel version comes with 26 beautifully crafted Hive pieces, includes a very nice drawstring bag and also the two expansions to the game: ‘The Mosquito’ introduced in 2007 and ‘The Ladybug’ which was added to the Hive family in 2010. The pieces measure 25 mm across and 10 mm in depth and the whole game weighs only 200g including the bag, as compared to the full size game which weighs 600g.
This version is great for taking on trips where space is an issue or for backpacking where weight could be a problem. Playing the game even on small airplane tables is now easier than ever. Hive Pocket is the very same wonderful game, with the same quality you'd expect, but much smaller and compact. Now you never need to go anywhere without Hive again.

Tatsu is a Backgammon style board-game that uses tactile dragon stone game pieces with different powers, in a battle of wits, in this addictive strategy game.
Japanese legend tells of a great battle between two mighty Dragon Lord armies, locked in combat on the peaks of Mount Hotaka, competing to win the hand of Princess Kushinada, the last and most beautiful of eight sisters. A battle so ferocious, that the villagers fearing for their lives, acquire the help of a powerful Wizard, who casts a spell over the Dragon Lords to keep them imprisoned in a circle of combat and to be freed only at the battle’s end. Their struggle continues to this very day, even though the Princess and their fateful story have long passed into legend.
Tatsu is a two-player game in which players control three different types of dragon pieces. By rolling two six-sided dice to decide movement, the pieces travel round the board and when they land on the same space as another piece, they will effect the piece in the following ways:
Vine dragons (green) entangle a player's dragon.
Water dragons (blue) expel a player's dragon off the board, back to their holding tray.
Fire dragons (red) take a player's dragon, removing it entirely from play.
You win if you take all of one type of the opposition's dragons or if you knock all the opposition's dragons off the board, so that none remain in play.
